Prioritize, Strategize, and Build Skills

The Small Shop Development Programs are designed specifically for new development leaders, new leaders to a particular school, or ones experiencing new challenges in a continuing role.

Keeping the "balls in the air" and deciding what to focus on at what time of the year can be highly challenging for a development leader in a small shop. Some schools have a development schedule packed with events, but only inertia keeps them on the calendar. Do you need a fresh set of eyes and an advocate for a more innovative, focused, and efficient development office? Jill uses several proprietary programs to guide development leaders to a better way to manage your program:

  • The Development Directorship 101 Program is a multi-faceted system designed for new or struggling leaders in a development shop.

  • The Annual Fund Liaison Program is a system to identify, recruit, and activate a team of volunteers for a peer-to-peer giving initiative.

  • The Annual Fund Re-Boot Program is just that, a process to re-invigorate an annual fund campaign that has lost its way or never found its footing.

  • The Department Evaluation and Streamlining is a proprietary process to help teams evaluate all the activities and events that falls under the responsibility of the development department. Often, over time, the scope of activities have strayed far and wide from those that actually raise funds and advance your school.

  • A Campaign Planning Program is tailored to specific, time-limited campaign goals. With Jill's Donor Interest Study and specific planning methodology, you and your school will be well-positioned to determine the campaign's feasibility and execute the campaign strategy.

Programs can be modified, combined, and re-imagined, creating a bespoke solution to your school's needs.

“I could not have done this without Jill’s guidance and support. She guided us through our first capital campaign in many years and we reached our goal on a very tight timeframe.”
